Our Pre-K learners thrive in an environment filled with books and literacy resources, purposefully created to inspire a love for reading, writing, and discovery. By practicing attentive listening, thoughtful observation, and careful documentation, teachers support each child in uncovering and pursuing their unique interests. POTA Morahs partner with children, equipping them with the skills and resources necessary to explore their curiosities deeply. This collaborative approach fosters strong independence and builds confidence as children take ownership of their learning journey.

STEAM Exploration

Our Pre-K curriculum integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math through hands-on, child-led learning. Children observe their environment, document findings, form hypotheses, and work with teachers to test their ideas, bringing the scientific method to life.

Exploring Author & Stories

Literacy comes alive as children engage in independent reading, story listening, author studies, and creative storytelling. Our rich classroom libraries support vocabulary growth, phonemic awareness, and writing through fun activities like labeling artwork and imaginative play.

Observing and Investigating

Children develop key skills in observation and data recording across subjects, learning to distinguish facts from opinions. They partner with teachers to explore questions and test ideas, fostering critical thinking and scientific inquiry.

Independent Inquiry

Children are encouraged to pursue their interests deeply, with teachers supporting their curiosity through active listening and guided questioning. This collaborative learning builds confidence, independence, and a love of discovery.

Compassion in Action

Pre-K students practice empathy by participating in community projects, such as preparing care packages and writing notes, learning the importance of kindness and giving back.
