Scholarship Fund

Cambridge Preschool of the Arts believes that no child should be left behind.  Offering tuition assistance to those who need it most is essential to making POTA accessible and inclusive for all in the community. Unfortunately, we do not have the funds to provide tuition assistance.  Until now, our Head of School, Elkie Zarchi, made ad hoc phone calls to individual members of the community who generously gave support to provide financial aid to families in need of assistance.  At this time, we are excited to announce the launch of a Scholarship Fund to provide financial aid for qualifying families who would otherwise not be able to attend POTA.  However, we need your help to make this fund a reality. Your creativity, generosity, and positive energy are integral to making financial aid possible.

The POTA Scholarship Fund awarded $27,530 to 20 families across our school network. Financial aid was awarded to preschoolers, pre-K, and to toddlers of returning families based on need and availability. Families enrolling more than one child can apply for a scholarship that awards 5% off the the tuition of the older sibling. For the 2022-23 school year, we raised a total of $8,983.78 towards the POTA Scholarship Fund.

POTA Security Fund

Due to these unprecedented times, and at many families’ request, POTA has taken on the additional fiscal burden of providing armed security detail at each of our locations to help ensure that the children and families in our care feel safe, which is our top priority. We feel confident that this additional presence is supporting a safer environment for our community.

We have established a Security Fund to allow POTA to continue providing security to friends, teachers, and staff of Cambridge Preschool of the Arts.  In order to cover security from now until the end of the school year, we need to raise approximately $294,000, which is over $1,000 per child. Teacher's Enrichment Fund

Cambridge Preschool of the Arts provides a supportive and stimulating environment for teachers and children to thrive. Gifts to the Teacher's Enrichment Fund support our teachers ability to attend workshops, seminars, and courses, as well as further their education and explore new areas of learning and expertise.

Family Shabbat Program

Our beloved Family Shabbat Program, is a weekly event tailored to children 0-6 and their parents. The one hour program is filled with creative sensory activities, song, and a fun meaningful child-led service which is followed by lunch. To sponsor a Family Shabbat, click here.
